Long, long before the emotional expressionism of the modern era, the Buddha formulated 'Right Speech' as the third aspect of The Noble Eightfold Path.

His astute observations on the careless use of speech are depicted over an image of the divine seated Buddhal at Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka.
